Love2Learn
The Love2Learn Program is unique as it combines Education with Nutrition and Healthcare. The focus is to improve the academic performance by fun and hands on learning methods, a nutritious meal everyday in class and a monthly health checkup with free medicines by a qualified local doctor.
In the tribal and slum communities it benefits the local youth who have qualified as teachers i.e. B.Ed or D.Ed by providing them with employment within their localities. These people both women and men speak the local tribal or state dialects and can connect with the children because they belong to the same community.
This program covers children in slums in Kalwa Thane and in the villages of Dahanu taluka. It also includes English Nurseries for children in both areas.
